Our Team
Jean
Jean and Ken purchased Western Elms Nursery in 2004.
Jean has experience working in a variety of Early Years sectors prior to taking ownership of the nursery.
Jean qualified with the NNEB certificate, following this Jean gained her BA Hons in Early Years Education.
Megan
Megan started at Western Elms Nursery in 2018 as a temporary level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioner. Megan has had previous experiences as management roles within other settings.
Early in 2019, Megan was offered the position of Room leader in the pre-school room whilst working towards achieving her Level 5. Megan then progressed to the Assistant Manger of the nursery. Megan is now Manager alongside/with Jean. She has completed her level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management in the Early Years and loves improving the nursery to make it outstanding!
Donna
Donna has been with us at Western Elms Nursery since April 2022. Donna first came to us back in April as a Level 3 Qualified and then progressed her way to the Assistant Manager to support the running of the nursery in August 2022.
Donna is our SENCO coordinator of the nursery.
Freya
Freya started with us at Western Elms in April 2023 as our Baby room leader, she is Level 3 qualified. Freya is working alongside the manager as the Child care coordinator of the nursery.
Emily
Emily started with us in 2018. Emily started as a Level 3 Trainee. She then completed her qualification and became our Pre school room leader in 2023.
Emily works alongside Donna to support her with SENCO of the nursery.
Kornelia
Kornelia started with us in September 2023. Kornelia is currently training to do her Level 3 Qualification.
Jessica
Jessica started at Western Elms Nursery in 2019 to train as a level 2 Childcare Practitioner. Jessica has now completed her level 2 and Level 3 Qualification with us at Western Elms.
Jessica is based in the baby room.
Christine
Christine started at Western Elms Nursery in 2013 as the nursery cook.
Management have worked closely with Christine in order to develop a well-balanced, nutritional menu meeting all children’s dietary needs and requirements.
Ellie – May has been with us at Western Elms Nursery since September 2022. Ellie- May works in all rooms and is now level 2 Qualification and working towards her Level 3 Qualification.
Alisha
Alisha has been with us since July 2023. Alisha is currently training towards her Level 2 qualification in childcare.
Sofia
Sofia has been with us Since May 2024. Sofia is working towards her Level 3 Qualification in childcare and works within all 3 rooms within the nursery.
