Jean and Ken purchased Western Elms Nursery in 2004.
Jean has experience working in a variety of Early Years sectors prior to taking ownership of the nursery.
Jean qualified with the NNEB certificate, following this Jean gained her BA Hons in Early Years Education.
Linda started at Western Elms Nursery in 2012 as a temporary Nursery Assistant after completing her BA Hons in Biological Sciences. Linda found her vocation and soon qualified as a level 3 Childcare Practitioner, before going on to complete her Early Years Qualified Teacher Status, during which time, she became Room Leader in Grasshoppers.
Linda is now the Early Years Foundation Stage Manager for the nursery and currently training alongside Jean to become the nursery manager.
Megan started at Western Elms Nursery in 2018 as a temporary level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioner.
Early in 2019, Megan was offered the position of deputy room leader in the Grasshoppers (pre-school) room.
Megan is now Deputy Manager of the nursery, and Room Leader of Grasshoppers. She has almost completed her level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management in the Early Years
Hollie started at Western Elms Nursery in 2014 as a trainee level 3 Childcare Practitioner in the Ladybirds room (toddlers).
Since qualifying as a level 3 Childcare Practitioner, Hollie remained in the Ladybirds room.
Hollie is Third in Charge and Room Leader of Ladybirds room.
Beth started at Western Elms Nursery in 2019 as level 3 Childcare Practitioner in Bumblebees (baby room)
In 2020, Beth became room leader of Bumblebees.
Amy Started at Western Elms Nursery in 2015 as a level 3 Childcare Practitioner in the Bumblebees room.
She now works in the Ladybirds room.
Emily started at Western Elms Nursery in 2018 as a trainee level 3 Childcare Practitioner in the Grasshoppers room.
Since qualifying, Emily has remained at Western Elms Nursery.
Carrigan started at Western Elms Nursery in 2015 as a trainee level 2 Childcare Practitioner. She has since qualified and works in the Bumblebees room.
Jessica started at Western Elms Nursery in 2019 to train as a level 2 Childcare Practitioner, she currently works in the Ladybirds room.
Christine started at Western Elms Nursery in 2013 as the nursery cook.
Management have worked closely with Christine in order to develop a well-balanced, nutritional menu meeting all children’s dietary needs and requirements.
