You can expect a day full of fun and learning with activities that stretch and stimulate your child’s learning through play in a nurturing environment at Western Elms nursery.
Activities are planned around children’s individual interests, ways of learning and stages of learning and development, incorporated into a daily routine. Our staff our passionate about what they do for the children, they show so much love and care when creating different experiences for the children throughout their time at Western Elms nursery.
We provide healthy and well-balanced meals, covering a wide range of dietary requirements. All meals are cooked fresh on site. Staff sit with the children and encourage positive table manners by helping the children and through role modelling. At Western Elms nursery we promote independence in each room during meal times, we hope this would help them with their experiences in later life and within their time at home.
We encourage the children to take part in a variety of outdoor activities covering all the 7 areas of learning. Here at Western Elms we love the outdoor fresh air. We sometimes even head to the different parks to play and have picnics!
Parents are encouraged to allow their children to become independent in the 3-5 year old room, giving the children the confidence and ability to transition to their next steps of education. This also eases the transition for you as parents.
